This specialisation is benchmarked to the Company Secretary (CS) course of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), which is a recognized professional body, responsible for developing and regulating the profession of Company Secretaries in India. A Company Secretary being multidisciplinary professional renders services in the areas of – Corporate Governance Legal and Secretarial Services, Corporate Laws Advisory and Representation Service, Financial Market Services, and Management Services. To meet the stakeholders’ expectations and to further enhance the quality of future members, the CS course has undergone major changes in the Year 2020 and as per new regulations, many processes and guidelines have changed. This specialisation follows the new scheme. A student enrolled in this specialisation stands to get the advantage of learning and preparing for the CS course along with the B.Com program or claim exemptions/credit transfer as applicable and approved by the University.
